Musicians

We book music 3 months at a time on a quarterly basis. If you are a band of more than two people, our spot's acoustics don't handle that very well. We are a wine bar where music is mostly background to the experience. We only consider original singer songwriters who can do 3 hours worh of original music. NO COVERS thanks to the thugs at BMI/ASCAP/SESAC/ETC. Use the contact us form to send us an email. We always have a full roster but may be able to fit you in due to special circumstances.

Orchard Wine Cellar Movers and Shakers This Week

  • Bertolani Lambrusco Rose Secco

    #1 Bertolani Lambrusco Rose Secco

Most of the Lambrusco that has hit our shores has been syrupy, nasty stuff like Ruinite (ruin is in the name) and whatever they pour in the Garden of Olives. This is a different creature altogether, bringing soft red raspberry and pink grapefruit up front before finishing clean and dry. It will change your worldview in a single serving.
    (Holding the #1 spot)

  • Sur de los Andes Cab Sav

#2 Sur de los Andes Cab Sav

Complex, lush and full-bodied with rich black fruit and spice. A touch of dusty blackberry and nice grip at the finish partially due to over a year in oak. Watch out, Napa! (behind by 4 bottles)

  • Foxbrook

    #3 Foxbrook

A delicious patio pounder coming out of Sonoma, California. Bright notes strawberry and watermelon with subtle hints of floral and minerality. Sweet without being overbearing balanced by beautiful acidity. Pair with a spicy Asian dish and call it a night! (behind by 4 bottles)

  • sweet sunset Mocha coffee

    #4 sweet sunset Mocha coffee

    (behind by 1 bottles)

Fun New Arrivals

  • Poseidon Pinot Noir

    Poseidon Pinot Noir

From vineyards with a view of the bay comes this well balanced, lively and delicious Pinot Noir. A easy drinking, medium-bodied wine showing off some rare and black pepper spiced Hungarian oak to balance the raspberry aromas and flavors.

  • Three Brooms

    Three Brooms

This single vineyard, certified sustainable sav blanc shows lovely white flower, chili pepper, and gooseberry on the nose with some sandy mineralogy. Very nice weight and balance showing passion fruit, ripe apple flavors. Such a pleasant surprise is the roundness, the acid is lively and energetic but not abrasive.

  • Porron Decanter

    Porron Decanter

The porron wine pitcher is a festive way to serve wine. Either use as a decanter or just pick up the porron and tilt it so that a thin stream of wine pours directly into your mouth! It takes some skill, but it is fun at a party to see how well you and your friends master the technique. Each porron holds 1 liter, which is a perfect size to hold a bottle of wine.

  • Amon Ra

    Amon Ra

The 2014 Amon Ra reflects the tried and true essence of the Glaetzer style - generosity of flavor with finesse of structure. The inky purple color displays the gentle but full extraction. The nose shows an abundance of dark blueberry, vanilla, black cherry and hints of cassis with notes of mixed spice and anise. Although still young and firmly wound, the vibrant blackberry and dried spice flavors integrate well with youthful yet supple tannins with the trademark loooong and sleek finish. Meant to go 10 to 15 years to hit its prime.
