Light Fruity Rose

Beginner Rose

Glenbrook Zinfandel Rose Glenbrook Zinfandel Rose $8.00

A softer and sweeter rose made in the original American style. Smooth candied cherry flavors with some golden plum tones. No harsh edges just beautiful Zinfandel character. If you can't see why everyone gushes about those dry European roses then this is for you!

Campos Enanzo Garnacha Campos Enanzo Garnacha $11.00

A 300 yr old family coop makes this lovely rich rose. Vibrant raspberry red color is the result of extended skin contact, which also adds to its richer than typical mouth feel. Intense cranberry and strawberry with some hints of watermelon. The acid hold the fruit in balance.

Bertolani Lambrusco Rose Secco Bertolani Lambrusco Rose Secco $14.00

Most of the Lambrusco that has hit our shores has been syrupy, nasty stuff like Ruinite (ruin is in the name) and whatever they pour in the Garden of Olives. This is a different creature altogether, bringing soft red raspberry and pink grapefruit up front before finishing clean and dry. It will change your worldview in a single serving.

Raphael Dal Bo Organic Prosecco Rose Raphael Dal Bo Organic Prosecco Rose $15.00

Made with organically grown Glera (Prosecco) and Raboso grapes, this outstanding fizzy rose is a joyful bottle of sunshine. The mousse (foam) is fine and vivacious. Lots of gorgeous aromas with a clean finish.

Structured and executed like a world class ballerina doing flamenco. Sells out every year for good reason. Lighter than Provence, a different planet than White Zin. • Maimai Syrah

    Maimai Syrah

So pretty. Brings a clear nose of Gimblett Gravels terroir beneath lush soft blue and black fruit with lovely violet and lavender notes. Palate is clean, balanced and very approachable. Just a hint of the Northern Rhone's meatiness but mostly bright fruit and enough acidity to hold it in check. Maybe the best NZ Syrah out there??

  • Amon Ra

    Amon Ra

The 2014 Amon Ra reflects the tried and true essence of the Glaetzer style - generosity of flavor with finesse of structure. The inky purple color displays the gentle but full extraction. The nose shows an abundance of dark blueberry, vanilla, black cherry and hints of cassis with notes of mixed spice and anise. Although still young and firmly wound, the vibrant blackberry and dried spice flavors integrate well with youthful yet supple tannins with the trademark loooong and sleek finish. Meant to go 10 to 15 years to hit its prime.
