What the heck is Trousseau Gris? Well, its a light and crisp white wine from the alpine mountain sides of France in the Jura. We never knew that California could make a wine like this. Wonderful acidity with loads of tropical fruit notes and the palate is something not to be read but enjoyed.

A wine that has always scored more than 90 points from all major raters. Made traditionally, still crushed by foot! The wine is bright purple, deep and dark, with an exotic aroma of crushed black berries and fennel. Coffee, bacon fat and freshly ground black pepper make it pair with beef and lamb wonderfully - especially cuts with good amounts of fat. The closest I've seen CA come to a true Hermitage.
