Carmenet Chard Carmenet Chard $11.00

If California chard is your deal then this is an affordable go-to to keep around. Shows a pretty straw color with copious apple, banana, pineapple and vanilla. Lots of oak with popcorn butter, butterscotch and lots of tropical flavors on the finish.

Cycles Gladiator Chardonnay Cycles Gladiator Chardonnay $12.00

The aromatics really jump out of the glass. Papaya, peaches, and pineapple on the nose with just a hint of toasted oak. Nectarines and other stone fruit on the forepalate. Ripe, round flavors of peach juice and pineapple. Soft acidity and a lush texture wrap around the tongue towards the back of the palate. Pairs with rich, creamy flavors such as scallops in an orange beurre blanc. Also chicken alfredo, seafood fettuccine, or any pasta smothered in a cream sauce.

Gen 5 Chardonnay Gen 5 Chardonnay $13.00

Bright golden yellow in color, the Gen 5 Chardonnay leads with classic varietal fruit aromas of apple, pear, ginger and lemon blossom, followed by subtle vanilla notes. In the glass, a bright acidity is broadened by lemon custard and honey flavors. Nicely oaked but not enough to overwhelm the delicate fruit.

Le Grand Noir Chardonnay Le Grand Noir Chardonnay $13.00

A lovely blend from the south west of France. The Viognier brings a bright flower and apricot to the nose, a bit of French and American oak to bring some depth. Very well balanced, crisp and just a very good white at a great price. No its not Burgundy, no its not California, its a lovely blend of both styles.

Aromas of peach, hazelnut and spiced candied apple. Round, creamy notes of fig, butterscotch and sweet oak.

Mythic Chard Viognier Mythic Chard Viognier $19.00

A very remarkable blend. The chard brings body and acid while the viognier brings its magical aromatics. A bit of French oak shows through as well. Its Condrieu meeting white Burgundy and somehow it's everything in one bottle, soft floral, buttery oak, zesty acidity, good body. Enjoy this one because I doubt I will ever find another like it!

After years of too much oak and overripe fruit, its wonderful to see balance returning to CA chards. While there certainly is tropical pineapple, apricot and lots of buttery oak, the body is full and round with just enough acid to hold it together. Has a lovely long finish. This reputable vineyard claims this is the best they have ever made, I think I agree!

An interesting cool climate Aussie Chard. Acidity is lively, no skanky pineapple juice flavors. Nose shows some minerality, melon and peach. Round creamy texture, some lees treatment evident. A little lemon curd shows as well. Nicely done.

J.Wilkes Deal J.Wilkes Deal $58.00

While Napa gets the buzz and the latest rapper/race car driver/NBA player/Kardashian wanna-be buying up vineyards, down south in the Santa Maria Valley, some remarkably elegant wines are being crafted out of the limelight. Tectonic plates crashing into each other have created lateral valleys that run perpendicular to the coast. These funnel cool moist air through the valley creating a remarkable cool climate AVA despite being quite a ways south. I've been really impressed with these wines and we're happy to offer cru members a really special deal. Buying any of these at the vineyard runs $30 a bottle, wine.com the same. Luckily, some wineries and winemakers like what we are doing here at Bitto, supporting wines by smaller producers, ignoring the bogus ratings, encouraging guests to branch out, etc. To help us show what this valley can do and to help you get into these wines at the lowest possible price, they have provided this unique threesome for us to sell.

Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve $64.00

Full-bodied and intensely flavored, this exhibits mature characteristics of candied fruit, coffee with amazing almond and vanilla pastry. Lovely, sexy with fresh lemon and ginger nuance.. Seamless harmony and texture, with a long, long, long finish.
