From up in the hills above Barossa comes this affordable and balanced Shiraz. Aromas of blackberry and black currant are mixed with dusty, chocolate covered coffee beans. Has rich flavors of blackberry and dried fruit with subtle spice nuances of black pepper and cloves. The palate is well structured with good oak integration.

A fun and lighter style from the cool mountains of Victoria. Aromas of fresh strawberry, cherry jam flirt with notes of forest floor a touch of peppery oak. Lively cola and raspberry flavors with vibrant acidity. Darn good value too!

Yes it is indeed. Only Aussies would turn Shiraz sparkling! Displays a vibrant lush garnet color and a bouquet of rich berry fruits, dark cherries and soft lingering hints of integrated oak. Flavors of bright juicy red fruit, blackberry and sweet plum are held in check with silky tannins and a soft finish. Go on! What do you have to lose!?!



Wallace Wallace $18.00

A blend of 78% Shiraz and 22% Grenache, the Wallace has a gorgeous nose of black raspberries, eucalyptus, kirsch and lavender plus ample Barossa black pepper, cloves and anise hints. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is soft, pepper-laced and seductive with impressive persistence and a lively acid and herb lift to the finish. Oak is light handed allowing lovely purity of fruit to show.

This wonderful Western Australia Chardonnay offers a youthfully nose of fresh peaches and cream, cedar, lightly toasted bread and apple tart. The palate is packed with nervy flavor intensity and has crisp acidity with a silky texture, finishing long with lingering honeyed toast notes.

An interesting cool climate Aussie Chard. Acidity is lively, no skanky pineapple juice flavors. Nose shows some minerality, melon and peach. Round creamy texture, some lees treatment evident. A little lemon curd shows as well. Nicely done.

One of the finest producers of Shiraz in the whole of Australia. The same winery that is responsible for our favorite Shiraz, Amon Ra, this is the little brother. Heavy spicy fruit with loads of finesse with black cherries and vanilla. Truly one of our secret gems.

Dry Riesling is a tricky beast. This sustainably farmed version from Victoria is teasingly aromatic, yet with a solid structure that will indeed stand up to game, especially Turkey and fowl. Aromas of lime, citrus and apple spice play rose petal.

The 2014 Amon Ra reflects the tried and true essence of the Glaetzer style - generosity of flavor with finesse of structure. The inky purple color displays the gentle but full extraction. The nose shows an abundance of dark blueberry, vanilla, black cherry and hints of cassis with notes of mixed spice and anise. Although still young and firmly wound, the vibrant blackberry and dried spice flavors integrate well with youthful yet supple tannins with the trademark loooong and sleek finish. Meant to go 10 to 15 years to hit its prime.
