Live Music at 6-9pm Cost-Free

Please welcome Kyle Donovan to Bitto Bistro. Kyle is a singer-songwriter, guitar player, and educator based in Denver, Colorado. Born and raised in Upstate New York, he migrated to Colorado in 2009 to pursue higher education at the University of Colorado. During his time at CU-Boulder, Donovan studied Political Science and Philosophy while leading the state’s oldest a cappella group, the Buffoons, serving as their music director and composing arrangements for an award-winning studio album. His love of music and performance has now taken him all around the country as a solo performer.

"In Philosophy classes, we would sometimes discuss the question of whether people are fundamentally good or evil. I always came down somewhere in the middle, but after touring the country and seeing the generosity, curiosity, and good will of so many strangers, I became convinced -- People are good."

The Kindness of Strangers received its name from this story and the common bond that Donovan found in his 2015 tour from New York to Los Angeles. The album was originally released with with his band, Miles Wide.

Orchard Wine Cellar Movers and Shakers This Week

  • Bonavita Red

    #1 Bonavita Red

Made from four grapes harvested later than usual to achieve a greater ripeness and smoothness. A deep and inky wine, with ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas. Nice ripe fig and cherry with chocolate and licorice flavors. Just enough oak to give it some backbone.
    (Holding the #1 spot)

  • Tintero Moscato

    #2 Tintero Moscato

Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible. (behind by 10 bottles)

  • Pietraluna Negramaro

    #3 Pietraluna Negramaro

The wine is inky purple with tar and black fruit aromas, a gutsy middle and round, moderately tannic end that almost needs chewing. It’s a great deal and truly a wine to work with tomato sauce and herbs better than chianti! (behind by 8 bottles)

  • Denver Beer Princess Yum Yum

#4 Denver Beer Princess Yum Yum

Princess Yum Yum is a sparkly beauty. Brewed as a German style Kölsch and fermented with real raspberries, she has the color and clarity of a ruby. At 4.8% ABV she is enticing and inviting, yet the tart, dry finish makes her just as complex as any royal. There are plenty of reasons you’ll want your own Princess Yum Yum. tied

Fun New Arrivals

  • Poquito Moscato

    Poquito Moscato

Lightly sparkling, fruity and sassy, Poquito is small in size but big on taste. Delicate floral aromas combine with a sweet yet refreshing palate of ripe peaches, pears and apricots. Apply liberally at any social occasion. Great right out of the bottle but really amazing with mint and rum as a mojito!

  • Obsidian Cab

    Obsidian Cab

A wonderful classic CA Cab with solid structure from the altitude and Hungarian oak. Reserved and dark on the nose with aromas of blackberries, hints of black licorice and coffee. Really nice and elegant. Touch on the masculine side with no jammy, jelly jar junk here. Wonderfully different.

  • Porron Decanter

    Porron Decanter

The porron wine pitcher is a festive way to serve wine. Either use as a decanter or just pick up the porron and tilt it so that a thin stream of wine pours directly into your mouth! It takes some skill, but it is fun at a party to see how well you and your friends master the technique. Each porron holds 1 liter, which is a perfect size to hold a bottle of wine.

  • Chateau Redortier Beaumes de Venise

    Chateau Redortier Beaumes de Venise

Wine geeks know of Gigondas and Vacqueras that show off Grenache like no other. Bordering both is Beaumes de Venise which is known for fortified Muscat. On a steep hillside (at 1500 ft!) twin sisters Sabine and Isabelle make this earthy, spicy blend of Grenache, Syrah and Counoise. A gorgeous wine.
